The 27th Asia-Pacific Business Outlook (APBO) Conference was held from April 7 – 8, 2014 in Los Angeles. APBO is the premier conference for business professionals seeking trade or investment opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. APBO offers small and medium size businesses that are new to market tremendous opportunities to develop networks, devise strategies, and update understanding of current economic climate and socio-political trends in the region. Since 1988, the USC Marshall School of Business has produced the APBO Conference on the campus of the University of Southern California. This year, nearly 300 guests from governments, research institutions, non-profit organizations and the business community were invited to the event. Executive Director of UCCTC Dr. Feng An was invited to speak on the seminar entitled “Real Successes as US Firms Continue to Tap China’s Enormous Environmental and Clean Tech Market”. He discussed the enormous potential of the clean technology market in China given the technical advantages found in the United States. An in-depth analysis on the prospects and challenges for the cooperation between the two countries in the clean tech field was also provided in the speech.
